The Domain

In 1937, Pierre ROBERT settles down in the Domaine de Fourn. At this time, he cultivates only 1,5 Ha of mauzac, the traditional grape variety in the area. Gradually, he sets out to increase the surface area of vineyards and begins to elaborate and market the BLANQUETTE DE LIMOUX.

In the fifties, the two sons, Jean-Pierre and Auguste will carry on the farming concern and the development of the cultivated areas allotted to AOC.
Today, Jean Luc and Bernard manage a 38 Ha vineyard, most of which being AOC and produce the four “appellations contrôlée” wines of Limoux : Blanquette de Limoux, Crémant de Limoux, Blanquette Méthode Ancestrale and Limoux Rouge. Actually, we cultivate the greatest AOC vineyard for Blanquette and Crémant de Limoux, and the widest estate for Mauzac, world-wide. We exclusively sale the wines made in our underground cellars opened to visitors.
During the last thirty years, we have constantly increased the volume of the AOC, produced with noble white varieties such as Mauzac, Chardonnay and Chenin.
